The New Wembley

Access for all

Wembley we are working towards creating the ultimate stadium experience for all. Our Access and Inclusion strategy has been developed from the initial principle that the design of the stadium should be inclusive.

As builders, and ultimately operators, of the Stadium they are taking into account the needs of disabled visitors. World Stadium Team (the Stadium’s architects Foster and Partners & HOK Sport) have designed facilities following consultation with specialist consultants, user groups (including the National Association of Disabled Supporters), Sport England and Brent Council. The design is in keeping with current legislation and relevant guidance documentation including the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds 1997 (the Green Guide).

The Wembley Stadium design has been developed along a social model of disability, which will be fully realised through training and raising awareness of staff and contractors.
